Testing & Assessment

Testing and Assessment have become important accountability measures since the passage of No Child Left Behind. It is mandated that all students receive yearly assessments in core instructional areas. These tests are the MCT3 (language and math), MST2 (science) and the SATP3 (biology, english, math and US history). Students must pass the SATP3 exams to graduate high school. This year also marks the phase in of manditory ACT testing in Mississippi. In addition to state mandated testing, we must also perform other testing to see if students qualify for various services and to ensure our instruction is aligning with state standards and frameworks. The purpose of this page is to keep all stakeholders informed of policies and changes pertaining to Testing and Assessment. Questions or comments should be directed to the Testing Coordinator.
